FAQs

You can find our new patient paperwork in the Patient Forms section of our website. You can print and fill them out before your first appointment — simply bring them with you to your appointment. When you make your first appointment, our front desk staff will also offer to email the paperwork to you for you to complete and return prior to your appointment. We ask that you arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow us to properly input all information into our system. We will also ask for a copy of your dental insurance to properly document in our system.

Family & Implant Dentistry accepts patients of all ages. We pride ourselves in seeing and serving patients from 3 to 103.

We suggest that children come for a “happy visit” at the age of 3. During that first visit, we introduce them to our office and equipment. We take them back to our operatory by themselves to show them the room and our instruments. We let them touch the instruments to get familiar with them. If they’re willing to open their mouths and say “ah,” we count their teeth together. “Happy visits” are free of charge.

If a child is comfortable during the visit and willing to sit for an appointment, we can conduct a full visit with an exam, x-rays, cleaning and flossing. At that point we would charge for the appointment as a child visit.

Should you find it necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you provide us with a notice of at least two (2) business days to avoid being charged a missed appointment fee of $25.

We accept cash, check, VISA MasterCard, Discover, American Express and have partnered with CareCredit, a third-party company, to offer the flexibility of interest free/deferred interest financing and extended payment options. Our front desk will be happy to discuss that option and application with you.

Family & Implant Dentistry participates in the Delta Dental Premier, BCBS of Kansas Premier, Met Life, Cigna, Aetna and FEP Blue Advantage networks. As a courtesy to our patients with dental insurance we will submit your claim and provide any necessary information to assist you in receiving your benefits, regardless of the type of insurance you have. We also offer a 10% discount to active duty, full time military patients.
